I got engaged today! It was a complete surprise! It’s hard to imagine that I’m at an age where getting engaged is even possible! My family is absolutely thrilled, as are my boyfriend’s fiance’s parents. Can’t wait to see what this year will bring! But for right now, I’m content to sit and stare at this little beauty on my finger. It was an heirloom diamond from his late grandmother who passed away a few years back. He had it re-sized, polished and fixed up at Kay Jewelers and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t be any happier :)
